The purpose of the thesis is to examine the considerations of AI based beauty content. This research seeks to identify the psychological and ethical concerns associated with authenticity and self image, analyse its impact on social beauty standards, and propose ethical guidelines and recommendations for content creators, platforms, users and students of beauty and cosmetics. The survey results reveal the informant`s views regarding AI based beauty standards. Informants show concerns about the impact of AI on self-esteem and mental well being. They indicate in the survey that exposure to AI generated content can lead to feelings of distress and increase the followship for unrealistic beauty ideals. Informants voted for the ethical regulation of AI applications in the beauty industry to deal with stereotypical representations. Informants who raised the voice by filling in the survey form for increasing diversity in AI generated beauty images. Respondent shows the importance of different beauty standards. Informants recognize the benefits of AI tools in customized beauty care products and solutions. The survey findings highlight the importance of ethical and psychological considerations, authenticity, self esteem, and the important role of stakeholders in moulding the future of AI in beauty care and cosmetic industry.
