This bachelor’s thesis examines conflict management within Finnish multinational corporations, focusing on Oy Kaha Ab and Tammer Brands Oy. Using a mixed-methods approach, it identifies key challenges such as resource allocation, power dynamics, interpersonal differences, and cultural diversity, all of which impact team dynamics and productivity.
The research highlights inconsistencies in conflict resolution across departments and the influence of remote and hybrid work models. Recommendations include structured training, enhanced cultural diversity, standardized protocols, and fostering open communication. These strategies aim to mitigate disputes and build a more inclusive organizational culture.
The findings provide practical insights for Finnish MNCs and similar organizations to navigate the complexities of a global workforce effectively.
