This research paper discusses topical issues such as change management, organizational change, communication and operational excellence. It focuses on how a team functions and how to enhance the process. The relevance for this research is the new CEO as well the world’s volatile and uncertain situation, which means companies must be prepared on immediate changes and adapt to fast new situations.
The research questions were What kind of team practices could be used in the change management process? How can a start-up company utilize corporate practices to enhance efficiency without losing flexibility and innovation? The strategic question for this paper was What kind of enhancements in operational excellence can improve OnniBus.com as a company? This gives guidelines for the whole research. To get deeper knowledge of the function, qualitative research methods are used.
Mainly qualitative research methods are used in this research. Data is collected during fall 2024. Those methods were interviews, observation, document analysis and case analysis. Semi-structed theme interviews were executed within 3 weeks, which included 6 people face-to-face or remotely, each approximately 30 minutes in duration. The final themes for thematic analysis came from interviews. Observation of three executive team meetings and digital team meetings.
The results of the research clearly point out which recommendations would benefit the company and what kind of team practises in change communication strategy could profit every field of the organization. Many different channels are used, but people would need more face-to-face contacts. To utilize corporate group benefits more is to enhance every process by being systematic, control-ling and asking feedback to keep continuous improvement the target.
