Tiivistelmä
This thesis was conducted for Laatulakki.fi, an online store specializing in high school graduation caps. The client envisioned the implementation of login, registration, and group order functionalities to improve the user experience and ordering process. The goal was to develop a visually appealing and user-friendly system that seamlessly integrates with the existing online store.
The implementation was carried out using the MERN stack, as the entire e-commerce platform was already built with this technology. This thesis explores the development of these features, including their design, functionality, and integration. Additionally, the report discusses the tools, environment, and methodologies used for project management, planning, the development, testing procedures, and the overall lifecycle of the feature development process.
As a result, a well-structured and intuitive system was created, aligning with the client's needs and expectations. The solution enhances the usability of the online store by providing a seamless login, registration, and group ordering experience, ultimately improving customer satisfaction.
