Tiivistelmä
This thesis explores the evolving impact of remote work on office productivity in Luxembourg, using a mixed-methods approach that combines employee surveys with semi-structured interviews of HR professionals. The findings reveal a nuanced picture: while remote work enhances individual productivity and offers greater flexibility, it also introduces challenges including reduced collaboration, legal and tax barriers for cross-border workers, and concerns around career visibility. The study contributes to a deeper understanding of hybrid work models and their implications for both policy and organizational strategy. It concludes with actionable recommendations to help public and private stakeholders optimize remote work’s long-term role in Luxembourg’s changing labor landscape.
