The thesis considers Human Resource (HR) practice development approaches to increase project team performance by perusing industry sectors which consist of IT plus construction together with automotive. Project organizations continue to grow in numbers so strategic Human resources practices play a main role in creating new project entity collaboration and innovation capabilities beside adaptation capabilities in flexible project contexts.
This study uses core HR functions together with employee selection, training and development and their performance assessment and proper leadership development, their effects on project team effectiveness based on the literature review together with semi structured interviews as part of its qualitative research strategy. The finding discloses Resource-Based View (RBV) together with Absorptive Capacity Theory and Tuckman’s Team Development Model the research demonstrates that tailored onboarding methods coupled with cross functional training and agile human resources systems attached with motivation based on performance enhancement led to better project results.
To sums up, evolutionary sector-based HR frameworks present a significant requirement which supports contemporary business team requirements and industry needs. Project success hang on deeply on well-organized HR practices which must be tactically associated HR transformation and cross-cultural teams and sustainable management of project-oriented organizations.
