The study explores organized process for enhancing cyber security in e-commerce development by integrating a set of modern cyber security practices and tools. Since the pandemic, e-commerce has gained more popularity among consumers and the cyber threats also thrived at faster pace than ever before bringing more challenges to securing customer data and ensuring system integrity [1]. The study focuses on methodologies for applying automated processes such as dependency management, integrating static code analysis into the software development of e-commerce platform, as well as applying industry standard security principles. By focusing on practical applications, the study provides a framework to define, analyze and reduce the vulnerabilities throughout the development and operation of the e-commerce. The findings of the study will help to provide the actionable details and scalable solutions for developers and enterprises, contributing to the ongoing effect to build a safe, resilient and trustworthy e-commerce platform.
