Tiivistelmä
This study was conducted for the Sheetal Jewellery House LLP to address the challenge of improving supplier performance management across key sourcing functions. The objective was to develop a structured and actionable proposal to enhance supplier evaluation, development, and collaboration. The study is based on stakeholder interviews, co-creation sessions, document reviews, benchmarking, and validation workshops. Insights were drawn from a Current State Analysis (CSA), Conceptual Framework (CF), and industry best practices in supplier management. The CSA revealed gaps in evaluation consistency, development structures, and collaboration tools. Best practices were explored for performance tracking, scalable development, and trust-based engagement.
The outcome of this study is a four part proposal, a Supplier Evaluation Scorecard with a weighted, risk based framework, a Supplier Review Mechanism with bi-annual reviews, monthly snapshots and debrief meetings, a Supplier Development Program with mentorship, tailored training, and certification and a Supplier Collaboration Portal with quarterly meetings and an annual summit. The recommendations were co- created and validated with the internal stakeholders. The study offers a practical scalable roadmap for enhancing supplier relationships, enabling proactive risk management, transparency, and long-term development.
