The aim of study was to identify the benefits and challenges of remote work within different professional practicing this method. This research addresses the core research problem: how employee handle productivity, interaction and employee welfare in remote environments.
The research was performed using the literature review and structured interview. The six professionals were requested for interview and four interested for this from different organization, region and profession. The interviews consist of main three research questions answering from the interviewee from their professional’s experiences.
The research results were systematically analysed with theory and literature review. Further examined was done to understand the interview data. From analysis it was revealed that the remote work enhances flexibility, autonomy and job satisfaction. It also saves time and money both for employee and organization and provide features to hire talent from wider level. The findings also suggest that remote work have challenges: communication, blur work life boundary and low team cohesion. It also revealed different digital tools for effective remote work and suggest for necessary training for employee to use these platforms.
