This thesis examined the influence of transformational leadership on promoting equality in the multicultural logistics and supply chain sector of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In a sector marked by workforce diversity, discrepancies in leadership accountability, communication challenges, and inequitable access to career advancement persist as significant issues.
The research employed eight fundamental theoretical frameworks that examined how inclusive leadership might mitigate structural inequities. The research highlighted existing gaps in policy and practice using qualitative data collecting, which included telephone interviews with industry workers and management. The results indicated that culturally competent, transformational leaders are essential in fostering equitable working environments through the promotion of fairness, empowerment, and cross cultural comprehension.
This thesis presented pragmatic alternatives, including broad management training, equity centered human resources policies, and honest performance evaluation metrics to enhance equality and inclusion in logistics companies. The study presented a paradigm for ethical leadership that connects theoretical ideas with industry practice, thereby improving employee well being and retention while also bolstering organizational performance in a globalized, multicultural environment. The ideas seek to impact leadership strategies and government industry partnership for sustainable equity in the United Arab emirate (UAE)'s logistics sector.
