Tiivistelmä
By developing remote work, virtual leadership has become a key factor in project success. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of remote leadership styles and the use of digital tools on project team performance, including motivation, collaboration, and member productivity. This study attempts to explain the role of communication skills and technology in improving the performance of virtual teams.
The research method is quantitative and survey-based, and data were collected through a questionnaire among 30 project managers, leaders, and members of virtual teams. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, correlation coefficient, and Cronbach's alpha.
The findings showed that there is a significant relationship between effective leadership in a virtual environment and project success (r = 0.695), and the effective use of digital tools is also correlated with project success (r = 0.618). Leaders with clear communication and motivation improve performance in remote teams.
These results indicate the necessity of training digital skills, improving communication, and developing leadership styles compatible with virtual environments for the sustainable success of projects in organizations.
