International students who relocate to Finland have always found it difficult to establish a new house, make rent payment, and even communicate with the landlord due to the existence of language barriers, fragmented platforms and so on. The article finds its placing in the background of a new web-based housing management system that is specially designed to suit international students in Finland. MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js) allowed easing the usage of the project and preparing it to expand.
The software provides various tools to help users in controlling student applications, property registrations, documents, and running of the daily affairs of the venture. Three groups of individuals use the system most effectively: landlords, overseas students, and platform administrators. The process of development was also done following agile techniques implying that testing and getting feedback was repetitive. The site assists international students to get lodgings since it offers them the safe environment to discuss all their housing requirements.
This is among the most difficult things that they need to cope with. Unit tests were also undertaken to ensure that the system could be dependable and achieved the required functionality. Whereas it is obvious that the solution in terms of architecture and implementation is fine, some of its aspects should be improved in the future, such as the integration of the chat and payment into it in a real-time manner. This is the most suitable approach by which the international students in Finland adapt to issues regarding accommodation.
