Tiivistelmä
This study examines the role of change management in the success of implementing information technology systems in Iranian insurance companies. The Iranian insurance industry faces several challenges, such as a traditional structure and employee resistance to change. The main objective of this study is to identify factors affecting technology adoption and to examine the impact of change management on the success of technology projects.
The research method was quantitative. Data were collected from 59 people, including managers, experts, and employees of insurance companies, using a standard questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SPSS software and descriptive and inferential statistical tests.
The findings showed that change management has a positive and significant effect on the success of implementing information technology systems. In contrast, employee resistance and organizational culture did not show a significant effect. These results indicate that employee training, clear communication, and management support can increase the likelihood of success of information technology projects in the Iranian insurance industry.
Based on the results, effective implementation of change management can reduce project failure and promote digital transformation in traditional organizations. The study emphasizes the need for stronger leadership, employee engagement, and continuous learning to ensure sustainable success in technology implementation.
