The thesis aimed to delve into the marketing of small service companies in Finland and how it affects business operations. It aimed to explore new opportunities for revenue generation and optimize the current operations. Primarily the study provides support for all small service companies to make a marketing plan and understand the goals and purpose of marketing, to improve the profitability and managerial activities of the company in question.
The case company was a beauty salon located in Helsinki, which mainly focuses on nail and eyelash services, with five employees. The thesis focused on the marketing plan of Company X and thereby expanded the company's operations and understanding of the market.
The main topic was to open opportunities to increase revenue and visibility, delve into the business model, through which to gain understanding and grow the company to the best possible point. The thesis covers the main features of a marketing plan such as defining market, history of modern marketing, analysis focusing on marketing and business, marketing communications, latest developments in marketing such as AI, beauty service industry in Finland and business model, budgeting and strategy.
