Tiivistelmä
This development project explored how Pinterest can support collaborative lesson planning in an English-speaking Finnish kindergarten. Using an action research approach, the study examined how teachers adopted the platform, how it influenced teamwork, and how it shaped daily pedagogical practices. Data were collected over three months through participant observation and a reflective diary. The findings show that Pinterest helped teachers generate ideas quickly, stay responsive to children’s interests, and share plans more easily, especially during busy days or staff shortages. At the same time, challenges such as uneven participation, information overload, and the need for pedagogically sound adaptation were identified. Overall, the project suggests that simple digital tools can strengthen collaboration and enrich planning when used thoughtfully and critically.
