Tiivistelmä
This thesis focused on the role of recreational activities on staff-well-being and performance at Greenvine company limited. Greenvine Company Limited is a Ghana-based freight and logistic company that provides international and domestic transport and supply chain service. The company specializes in logistics and transportation, road transport, customs clearance, warehousing and de-livery service.

The research objectives included identifying the type of recreational activities available to staff, examining the effect of recreational activities on employees’ physical and psychological well-being, and determining the relationship between participation in recreational activities and staff productivity. The quantitative research approach was employed for the study with 20 participants selected for a questionnaire survey. Simple random sampling was used, and the questionnaire was the main data collection instrument.

The findings of the study revealed that the type of recreational activities available to staff include indoor games (table tennis, board games and chess), outdoor sports (football, volleyball and athletics), fitness and exercise facilities, company-organized sports competitions, and wellness pro-grammes. The findings show that recreational activities influence physical and psychological well-being in the organization. The study recommends that Greenvine company limited should continue to support and encourage staff to engage in all the activities and incentives should be provided to encourage full participation. Also, there is a need to implement regular assessment and feedback mechanisms
