Tiivistelmä
Many students do not take the opportunity of starting a business while they are still learning, to help them in building their careers even earlier. In this thesis it was decided to be exceptional and come up with a business during the studies process. This thesis is about the vision of establishing and implementation of a brand and an individual business by a foreign Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Student from Savonia University of Applied Sciences in Finland. Knowledge acquired in various units such as marketing, business, and management into the real world was used.
The research and collecting information on the topic was done by the student based on different resources and existing experiences. In the thesis, topics how to choose a good brand name, attracting customers, items and business line selection criteria, expanding, etc. are discussed. The physical implementation area of the project in Finland. Lighting is chosen as the main business with alternatives for side businesses including fragrances, handmade leather wallets, carpets, luggage, clothing, watches, earphones, jewelry, and chocolates.
