Working in DevOps at a Multinational Information Technology Company

Abstract

This thesis diary documents the daily processes and developments of a trainee in a multinational information technology company. The observation period for the diary thesis is 5.7.2021 – 8.9.2021. The diary thesis consists of 10 weeks of documented diary entries, description of the company, weekly analysis, and a conclusion. Each week of the diary consists out of five diary entries, one for each day, and an analysis at the end of the week. The student describes tasks related to DevOps Operations, Cloud Development and Microservices Orchestration. Finally, in the conclusion and discussion part the student will describe and make a final analyzation of how he has developed from the start of writing until the end of the diary. Also, a vision on the future will be discussed.
