Tiivistelmä
This thesis is written in a diary-based format and presents a 10-week reporting process in which the author discusses their daily tasks and learnings, reflects upon each week and measures how the progress over time adds up to the objectives of this thesis period.
Diary entries are presented on weekly rather than daily intervals due to the inconsistent nature of the job and its tasks, and events reported may not be in chronological order for that week. It does, however, highlight key events and learning areas for each week in no specific hierarchy.
The goal of this thesis is to support the author in their development as a professional in this field of work and it also gives an insight into what it may be like for new recruits starting their employment at Nokia Oyj.
A reflective conclusion is presented at the end of this thesis to sum up the learnings of the author. Each key learning area is segmented and evaluated based on the reflective analysis for each diary entry. Indirectly, the onboarding program of the company is evaluated, and feedback is provided for its effectiveness.
After the reporting period ended on 29.10.2021, the author continued their employment at the company with the same job title. With the aid of this thesis report, the author has aims to become an independent employee swiftly and expects to be continuously progressing towards increased overall competence.
