The objective of this Bachelor’s thesis was to build a WordPress site for a hotel called Changninggong Garden Hotel. The main functions of the hotel website would be to enable efficient marketing for the hotel's operations and upcoming events and to act as a billboard for company news and other public announcements. The scope of this thesis includes creating the basic layout and functionality for the site.
The website was built with the Elementor plug-in and Kadence as the WordPress theme. The website can implement some basic functions of a corporate website.
The result of this thesis was a WordPress website that shows customers or potential customers information about the hotel's rooms, events that can be organized on the hotel’s premises such as weddings, and other services offered e.g. restaurants, and spa.
