Tiivistelmä
The goal was to create one measuring device that would be suitable for all cars’ trunks. The current way of measuring required many different devices which were unhandy. Having many measuring devices was a problem for the company because measuring was carried out in a car dealerships which are often narrow. The current measuring devices are also heavy and big, so there was a need of changing the material and trying to develop an device which is easier to transport inside the narrow places.In this thesis 3D modeling, measuring methods, ultrasound and AR are explained as well as the benefits of them in the field of engineering.
