The author participated in a website development project as part of his professional internship at Lignell & Piispanen, which served as the basis for this thesis. This thesis was written to evaluate and analyze Lignell & Piispanen's website development project as a whole and to benefit other businesses that are working on website development or website construction projects.
Methods used in the evaluation and analysis of the website development project included examining and representing the provided data. Various sources about website creation were used to point out the key aspects. The point of view was the client company’s viewpoint; the data (SEO audit from Call to Action) provided to the author was utilized in the thesis process.
In conclusion of the findings from the research, the website development process includes many different factors that must be taken into consideration. All the stages of the website development project must be conducted properly and with the correct goals to achieve a well-functioning website.
