Tiivistelmä
The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on hand hygiene of healthcare workers (HHCHWs) was positive but temporary. Hand hygiene compliance (HHC) was difficult to sustain even during the global crisis.
Self-protection was a strong motivator to boost HHCHWs. Coping self-efficacy is an essential factor to promote healthcare workers’ confidence in their ability to adapt to better hand hygiene behaviors even if barriers occur.
