Joblink Oy commissioned this thesis. The purpose of this thesis is to identify a viable option for the case company to enhance its recruitment system. The enhancement consists of researching data integration companies that can offer the required integration solution for the case company’s recruitment deficiency to support the case company’s current recruitment platform use.
The thesis covers the background of the recruitment process and the case company. The thesis analyzes the case company’s recruitment by interviewing the case company’s Chief Operating Officer and the Lead Human Resource Manager. The thesis follows the abductive approach using the qualitative method. The interviews were semi-structured, and responses were used to investigate the case company’s recruitment discrepancy and the expected outcome analyzed through needs analysis.
Based on needs analysis and literature research, a request for proposal is constructed to send to various data integration companies. The received request for proposal replies were analyzed with quantitative methods and presented to the case company to choose a data integration company to enhance the existing recruitment platform to set as a viable contender for a possible new platform system, X.
