Tiivistelmä
Tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli yrityksen implementointi SAP IDES ERP 6.0 järjestelmässä. Työn toimeksiantaja oli Oulun seudun ammattikorkeakoulun liiketalouden yksikkö, joka käyttää opetuksessaan SAP ERP-järjestelmää. Kesällä 2010 tapahtuneen toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän versiopäivityksen myötä aikaisemmin käytössä ollut versio ja sen sisältämät tiedot poistuivat käytöstä. Kehittämistehtävä rajattiin käsittämään yrityksen tilaus-toimitusketjun toimintaan liittyvien moduulien, myynnin ja jakelun (SD), materiaalihallinnon (MM) sekä ulkoisen laskentatoimen (FI), implementointia. Opinnäytetyön ulkopuolelle jätettiin tuotantoon liittyvien moduulien implementointi.
Tietoperusta käsittelee yrityksen toiminnan yhtenäistämiseen pyrkivien toiminnanohjausjärjestelmien historiaa lyhyesti, keskittyen järjestelmien integraation tuomiin etuihin esitellen myös toiminnanohjausjärjestelmien käyttöönoton tuomia hyötyjä yritykselle. Tietoperustassa on nostettu esiin SAP ERP-järjestelmä, sillä tämän opinnäytetyön kehittämistehtävän toteutuksessa käytettiin kyseistä järjestelmää. Tietoperustan tärkein osuus on toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän implementointiprojektiin liittyvien vaiheiden kuvaus ja projektityöskentelyn kriittisten menestystekijöiden tunnistaminen.
Opinnäytetyön toiminnallisen osuuden tuloksena luotiin malliyrityksen organisaatiorakenteen lisäksi malliasiakas, -toimittaja sekä -tuotteet. Toiminnallisen osuuden dokumentoinnista koottiin implementointiohjeistus, jota voidaan hyödyntää implementoitaessa yritystä SAP ERP-järjestelmässä. Luotua malliyritystä sidosryhmineen käytetään liiketalouden yksikön opetuskäytössä elokuusta 2010 alkaen.
Opinnäytetyön rajauksesta johtuen avautuu aiheita uusille opinnäytetöille esimerkiksi tuotannon- sekä sisäisen laskentatoimen moduulien parista. Näiden moduulien implementointi on tarpeen SAP ERP-järjestelmän käytettävyyden laajentamiseksi. The purpose of this Bachelor´s Thesis was to implement a company in SAP IDES ERP 6.0-system. This thesis was commissioned by Oulu University of Applied Sciences, School of Business and Information Management. The school utilizes the SAP ERP-system for educational purposes. All the data within the current system will be lost in the summer of 2010 due to an update version. The functional part of this thesis consists of implementing the modules which enables the company order and supply chain. These modules are Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM) and Financial Accounting (FI). However, this thesis does not include implementing those modules related to production.
The theory section consists of a brief history of Enterprise Recourse Planning Systems focusing on benefits brought by integration. In addition, advantages of system implementation to business operations are included in the theory. The theory emphasizes SAP ERP systems because the very same system is used in the functional section of this thesis. The most essential part of the theoretical background is the description of different phases in the implementation project and the recognition of critical success factors (CSF) in project work.
The functional part of this thesis resulted in creating the organization structure of the model company. Furthermore, a model customer, model vendor and model products were formulated. The documentation was constructed during the implementation process. The documentation functions as an implementation guide in order to assist implementing a company to a SAP ERP system. The commissioner of this thesis has been using the created model company with its interest groups for educational purposes since August 2010.
This thesis provides new topics for future theses, for instance among production and controlling modules. Implementing these modules is crucial to ensure propagation of the usability of SAP ERP system.
