Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on Web-sivuston suunnittelu ja toteutus Lääkäripalvelu Polarmed Oy:lle. Sivustojen tarkoituksena on antaa informaatiota lääkäreistä, jotka ovat Lääkäripalvelu Polarmed Oy:n palveluksessa. Sivusto kertoo lääkäreiden erityisosaamisen, yhteystiedot ja vastaanottojen sijainnit. Opinnäytetyössä tarkastellaan kotisivujen luontia vaatimusmäärittelyn näkökulmasta sekä eritellään ne vaiheet, joita suunnittelussa ja toteutuksessa tarvitaan.
Toimeksiantajalla ei ole aikaisempaa kokemusta sivustojen ylläpidosta, joten sivuston toteuttamiseen tarvittiin helppokäyttöinen sisällönhallintajärjestelmä. WordPress-sisällönhallintajärjestelmä valittiin, koska se mahdollistaa sivujen päivittämisen selain–ohjelmalla, joten päivittäjän ei tarvitse olla sidoksissa yhteen työpisteeseen eikä päivittämiseen tarvitse osata Web-koodikieltä, vaan sovellus toimii kuin tekstieditori.
Opinnäytetyön lopputuotoksen eli Web-sivuston toteuttaminen tehdään vesiputousmallin mukaan, johon kuuluu sivuston määrittely, suunnittelu, toteutus, testaus, käyttöönotto ja ylläpito. Tehtävänä on myös luoda helpot ohjeet sivuston ylläpitoon, koska ylläpito jää yrityksen itsensä hoidettavaksi. Työssä hyödynnetään kirjallisuutta, internetiä ja toimeksiantajalta saatuja tietoja. Valmiilla Web-sivuilla esitetään tietoa Lääkäripalvelu Polarmed Oy:sta ja lääkäreistä sekä heidän yhteystiedoistaan. Opinnäytetyön tuotoksena syntyi Web-sivusto yritykselle ja ohjeistus sivuston ylläpitämiseen. The purpose of the thesis is to design and create a website for the medical service Polarmed Oy. The purpose of the website is to give information about the doctors who work for Polarmed Oy. The website gives information on doctors’ specific skills, their contact information and where their reception is located.
The thesis examines the creation of the website from the perspective of requirement specification and, what kind of steps there are needed in the planning and implementation.
The client has no previous experience in website maintenance, so an easy-to-use content management system was required to carry out the site. WordPress content management system was chosen because it allows updating the site by browser software, and the updater does not need to know the web code language, since the application works like a text editor.
The web-page was created by using a waterfall model which included defining, design, execution, testing, implementation and maintenance. Also, the task was to create simple instructions on the maintenance of the site because it will be taken care of by the company itself. The work utilises the literature, the Internet and the information obtained from the client. The finished website gives information about the medical service Polarmed Oy and doctors’ specific skills, their contact information and where their reception is located.
