In this thesis greenhouse automation is approached with a total control of a greenhouse. Wireless systems are essential to achieve success. Cables are expensive to install, difficult to move and hinder the normal use of a greenhouse when installed on the pathways. On the other hand, some level of wiring is usually required anyway.
The result of this project is a starting point for an aimed wireless greenhouse automation system. Various influential variables are introduced, and likewise ways for their usage are introduced.
Climate control efficiently in a greenhouse is very important. The surveillance of a greenhouse can save considerable amounts of money. Threat identification of
a greenhouse crop is essential for successful harvest. Some of the introduced solutions have been finished, others need research and development.
