Eri tuotantovaihtoehtojen vertailu Kiviharjun tilalla

Abstract

Kiviharjun tilalla on harjoitettu maidontuotantoa pitkään suhteellisen kannattavalla tasolla. Kannattava maidontuotanto vaatii kuitenkin suurta työmäärää ja on sitovaa. Opinnäytetyöni tarkoituksena onkin tarkastella muita tilalle soveltuvia tuotantomuotoja kannattavuuden ja työmäärän kannalta. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli kartoittaa tilan nykytilanne ja laatia kannattavuuslaskelmat mahdollisen tuotantosuunnan vaihdoksen helpottamiseksi. Tuotantovaihtoehtoja vertaillaan kannattavuuden ja toteuttamiskelpoisuuden suhteen, sekä pyritään suunnittelemaan tuotannon aloittaminen mahdollisimman pienin investoinnein. Työ keskittyy luonnonmukaisen emolehmätuotannon ja viljantuotannon kannattavuuden selvittämiseen. Tuotannon suunnittelussa on huomioitu tilan nykyiset resurssit sekä tarkasteltavien tuotantovaihtoehtojen perusasiat. Maksuvalmius- ja kannattavuuslaskelmat laadittiin päätöksenteon tukemiseksi vuosille 2011 - 2015 Cashman – maatalousohjelmalla. Molemmat uudet vaihtoehdot ovat helposti toteutettavissa kohtuullisella työnmäärällä ja investoinneilla, mutta laskelmien mukaan emolehmätuotanto on taloudellisesti järkevä vaihtoehto tilalle. Siirtyminen luonnonmukaiseen emolehmätuotantoon sukupolvenvaihdoksen jälkeen on mahdollista opinnäytetyössäni analysoitujen asioiden perusteella.

In my homestead milk production has been practiced at a relatively profitable level for years. A succession is expected to take place in the near future. However, the profitable milk production requires a large amount of work and validity. The purpose of my thesis is to examine other suitable production forms from the point of view of profitability and amount of work. The objective of the thesis was to survey the present situation of the farm and to draw up calculations of profitability to facilitate the change of the production sector. The production alternatives are compared based on profitability and feasibility and consider the start of the production with as small investments as possible. The work concentrates on clarifying the profitability of an organic suckler cow production and crop production. In the planning of the production attention has been paid to the present resources of the farm and basics of production alternatives. The liquidity and the calculations of profitability were drawn up on the agriculture program Cashman for years 2011 – 2015 to support the decision-making. Both examined alternatives can easily be carried out with a reasonable amount work and investments, but according to the calculations the suckler cow production is the most reasonable alternative for the farm. The transition to organic suckler cow production after the succession is possible on the basis of the matters that have been analyzed in my thesis.
