Recycling has nowadays become an essential part of managing resources, while keeping the environment safer and cleaner.
The purpose of the thesis was to find out about key issues in opening and running an IT recycling center in Nigeria, which has the largest IT market in Africa. This status comes with a huge responsibility on how to manage the IT waste already generated, and those that will be generated in future. Hence the thesis focused more on developing a business plan for an IT recycling operation in Nigeria.
