Artificial intelligence is a largely growing part of our world and is becoming more and more necessary to implement in our ever advancing technological innovations. In gaming, it is a greatly overlooked area. Games provide a form of entertainment that no other medium can offer. Games are more immersive and hands on.
Games have come a long way and they stand at a point where the line between realism and fiction is exceedingly thin. To make games additionally realistic, developers are now trying to make them mimic human behavior. This paper discusses the different ways an artificially intelligent agent can be implemented into the game. The agent has to be able to play as a human would and also maybe win a game or two. Importance lies not on the winning ability but the ability to play as humanly as possible. To do this different methods of artificial intelligence will be discussed and one was picked and put into the game.
