Koulutus tyypin 2 diabeteksen hoidon tavoitteista vanhuksella Haapajärven kotihoidossa

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli järjestää koulutustilaisuus Haapajärven kotihoidon henkilöstölle, tyypin 2 diabetesta sairastavan vanhuksen hoidon tavoitteista. Tavoitteena oli luoda kotihoitoon yhtenäinen toimintatapa tyypin 2 diabetesta sairastavan vanhuksen hoidossa, ja että kotihoidon asiakkaat saavat asianmukaista, osaavaa ja näyttöön perustuvaa hoitoa. Koulutuksen tarve oli työelämälähtöinen. Olemme työskennelleet Haapajärven kotihoidossa, jonka esimies, kotihoidonohjaaja toi esiin koulutuksen tarpeen. Hän ehdotti opinnäytetyöksemme koulutuksen pitämistä tyypin 2 diabeteksen hoidosta vanhuksella. Koulutustilaisuuteen osallistui 25 henkeä kotihoidon henkilöstöstä, eli miltei koko henkilökunta. Koulutus järjestettiin kahtena iltapäivänä joissa oli identtiset ohjelmat. Henkilöstö otti koulutuksen vastaan avoimesti ja kiinnostuneesti. Henkilökunta antoi palautetta koulutuksesta ja sen mukaan koulutus oli tarpeellinen, ja he kokivat saaneensa uutta tietoa ja kertausta jo opittuun tietoon. Koulutuksen jälkeen tuli esille, että tarvetta koulutukselle on vielä tyypin 2-diabetesta sairastavan vanhuksen hoidosta. Palautteesta ilmeni että henkilöstö haluaisi koulutusta diabeteksen lääkehoidosta ja sekä diabeetikon jalkojen hoidon tärkeydestä.

The purpose of the dissertation was to arrange the training meeting for the staff of the home care of Haapajärvi, from the objectives of the care of the old person who has diabetes 2 of the type. The objective was to create a uniform way of action to the home care in the care of the old person who has diabetes of type 2 the care which proper, knowing and is based on the display and that the customers get the home care. The need for the education comes from work community. We have worked in the home care of Haapajärvi, which superior, the home care instructor brought out a need for the education. She proposed the keeping of the education as our dissertation from the care of the diabetes of type 2 on the old person. 25 persons, in other words the almost whole staff participated in the training meeting from the staff of the home care. The education was arranged on two afternoons in which there were identical programs. The staff received the education openly and interestedly. The staff gave feedback on the education and according to it, the education was necessary and they experienced that they had gotten new information and repetition to the information that has already been learned. After the education came forth that there is still the need for the education from the care of the old person who has diabetes 2 of the type. In the feedback was that the staff would want to have education from the medical treatment of the diabetes shown and and from importance of the care of the diabetic's legs.
