The thesis "Future of Tourism in Bangladesh: A Study on how to Attract Finnish visitors to Choose Bangladesh as a Holiday Destination" aims to investigate the potential for the Bangladeshi economy to benefit from the tourism industry by attracting Finnish visitors to its tourist spots.
The thesis examines the methods, strategies, and frameworks that could be used to entice Finnish tourists to visit Bangladesh and highlight the financial and environmental incentives that may be available to them. Additionally, the thesis explores how Bangladeshi governmental and nongovernmental organizations and assets could collaborate to achieve a good and healthy status for the country's tourism industry.
The research employs qualitative methods by collecting and analyzing in-depth interview data to gain deeper insights and produce relevant outcomes.
The study utilizes academic resources such as peer-reviewed articles, journal entries, and books, published within the last five years, to ensure the research is up-to-date, relevant, and future-oriented.
Ultimately, the study aims to uncover ways in which the Bangladeshi economy could utilize the tourism and hospitality industry, with a particular focus on attracting Finnish tourists to generate revenue. This thesis consists of nine chapters. The first chapter is basically about the introduction. Chapter two discusses the importance of tourism in Bangladesh. In chapter three, I have described the development, challenges, and issues of tourism in Bangladesh. Chapter 4 describes the theoretical framework of tourism in Bangladesh. Chapter 5, describes the results and methods and the last 4 chapters discuss the discussion, conclusion, and recommendations for tourism in Bangladesh.
