Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyö on tehty toimeksiantona taloushallinnon yritykselle. Ohjaajana toimi lehtori Arja Itkonen. Työn tavoite oli tehdä toimeksiantajalle opas, jota voidaan käyttää palkanlaskennan apuna. Kohdeyrityksellä oli tarvetta Personec W -palkanlaskentaohjelman perusteiden oppaalle.
Työ on toiminnallinen työ, ja työn tuloksena on opas Personec W -ohjelman perusteisiin. Työ on tehty laadullisin menetelmin. Oppaan tietoperusta on tehty aikaisemman työkokemuksen perusteella. Personec W -ohjelmalle ei ollut teoriaa. Opinnäytetyön yhdeksännessä kappaleessa kerron miten olen laatinut oppaan.
Teoriaosuuden tietoperustassa on käytetty Suomen lakeja, palkanlaskennan oppikirjoja sekä erilaisia palkanlaskennan sidosryhmien ohjeita. Teoriaosuudessa käsittelin palkanlaskennan perusteita sekä kerroin mitkä asiat ovat tärkeitä palkanlaskijoille ja mihin asioihin kannattaa kiinnittää erityistä huomiota. Olen myös avannut aiheeseen liittyviä lakeja ja muita ohjeita sisällöllisesti sekä kertonut miten niitä pitää käyttää palkanlaskennassa. Lisäksi käsitelin lyhyesti palkanlaskennan tulevaisuutta.
Johtopäätöksessä kerron millaisia tuntemuksia palkanlaskenta työnä herätti minussa sekä mitkä lainsäädännön osat yllättivät minut. Lisäksi pohdin myös tulevien lakimuutosten vaikutusta palkanlaskentaan, sillä jotkut tulevista lakimuutoksista vaikuttavat suuresti palkanlaskentaan. Commisioner of this thesis was an accounting company. Supervisor of this thesis was Arja Itkonen. The aim of the thesis was to develop a guide that the commissing company can use in the everyday work of payroll. Commisioner company had a need for a guide of basics in Personec W-payroll software.
The thesis was a project-based work and the result was guide of basics in Personec W. Thesis was made with qualitive methods. Information for the guide was gathered while working with Personec W software. There was no theory regarding the Personec W. In thesis chapter 9 I’ll tell how this guide was made.
Information for the theoretical part has been gathered from laws, payroll study books and using various payroll stakeholders’ guides. In the theoretical part I have covered the basics of payroll and given guidance to what parts are important and to where to focus when calculating salaries. I have also explained various laws and guides and explained how to use them in payroll. I have also shortly covered the future of payroll.
In the conclusion I have also told how I felt about payroll as a job and what surprised me in the laws. I’ve also pondered about the upcoming changes in laws and how it affects payroll. Some of the changes in law affect payroll greatly.
