Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyössä tarkasteltiin tietomallipohjaisen rakennesuunnitteluprojektin läpiviemisen hallintaa. Tavoitteena oli kerätä yhteen tietoa rakennesuunnittelun vaiheista ja niissä huomioon otettavista asioista sekä pohtia niiden vaikutusta projektin kulkuun.
Insinööritoimisto Mäkeläinen Oy:n toimintamalli on työntekijämäärän kasvun ja tietomallintamisen myötä muuttunut ja huomioon otettavien asioiden määrä on kasvanut. Yhtenäisempi toimintamalli loisi projektien hallintaan ja läpivientiin selkeyttä. Työntekijöiden siirtyessä projektista toiseen, toisen projektipäällikön alaisuuteen ei aikaa menisi uuden toimintamallin hahmottamiseen.
Tässä opinnäytetyössä tietoa kerättiin internetissä julkaistuista alan tietolähteistä kuten RT-korteista ja ympäristöministeriön julkaisuista. Koska mitään suoraa ohjeistusta projektin läpivientiin ei ole ja työ on erityisesti Insinööritoimisto Mä-keläinen Oy:lle suunnattu, suurilta osin lähteenä käytettiin opinnäytetyöpalavereita, joita järjestettiin Insinööritoimisto Mäkeläinen Oy:n tiloissa.
Opinnäytetyön tuloksena kuvattiin rakennesuunnitteluprojektin vaiheet ja kerättiin tietoa yhtenäisemmän projektin hallintakäytännön luomiseksi Insinööritoimisto Mäkeläinen Oy:lle. Lisäksi yritykselle suunniteltiin projektinhallintatyökalu, jonka tarkoituksena on toimia eräänlaisena projektipäällikön muistilistana. In this thesis project management in modelling construction process was studied. The purpose was to collect information of different areas of the structural design and think about all the things that has to be taking care of when planning with building information modelling.
Operation model in Engineering office Mäkeläinen Ltd. has been changing because of increase of employees and challenges of the building information modelling. More coherent operation model would make project management clearer. When employees move from one project to other under other project manager, time wouldn’t go waste to learning new way of project management.
In this thesis information was collected from internet pages of the field of construction like RT-cards and publication of the Ministry of the Environment. Because there is no direct guide to project management of modelling construction process, and because this thesis was especially made for need of Engineering office Mäkeläinen Ltd, most of the information was taken from the thesis meetings that were held in the office of Engineering office Mäkeläinen Ltd.
As a result of the study different processes of the structural design was described and information to make more coherent project management was collected. Also a project management tool was made for project managers to use as a checklist to help them organize planning of the projects.
