This thesis aims to demonstrate the significance of implementing a tailored Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to enhance resilience within a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME), with a particular focus on JiiPee Sähköpalvelu Oy. Via methods such as interviews, participant observation, risk assessment, and thematic data analysis, the research addresses the absence of an existing BCP.
The goal of this thesis is to craft a BCP for JiiPee Sähköpalvelu Oy to implement. Using thorough analysis and thematic assessment, this thesis will underscore the importance and effectiveness of implementing a tailored BCP.
The findings from the data via means of interview, participant observation, risk assessment and thematic data analysis reinforce the value of a tailored BCP in strengthening resilience and preparedness for unforeseen challenges and disruptions, consequently contributing to the sustainability and continuity of the business.
