In this thesis improvement of rental worker process and communication related to worker efficiency was researched through qualitative research methodology. The goal of this thesis was to study and find implementations to utilize process improvement methodologies and corporate communications to make the rental worker system used by the clients of Bolt.Works more efficient.
Research for this thesis was done for Bolt.Works as a case study. Data for this study was done in qualitative format with questionnaires and an interview, with the cooperation of Bolt.Works. Answers from the questionnaires were gathered in February 2024 and distributed by Bolt.Works for their customers, the rental workers and Bolt.Works staff. Three different questionnaires were conducted to the three groups, in a way that gaining the perspective of all three parties was comprehensive. All of the questionnaires were anonymous, and no personal data was gathered from them.
The conclusion of the thesis is that it can be noted that communication should be improved, as well as giving more instructions to their clients for better cooperation. The construction businesses that rent the work force from Bolt.Works prefer to use phone calls to get the workers, however from the aspect of the HR staff of Bolt.Works, they think that especially in certain scenarios, the utilization of the Bolt.Works application would be more effective and less time-consuming.
