Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyömme aiheena oli toimintatuokioiden toteuttaminen päiväkodin esiopetusryhmään Iissä. Valitsimme opinnäyteyömme aiheeksi lasten vertaissuhdetaitojen tukemisen, koska päiväkodin mielestä aihe oli ajankohtainen ja hyödyllinen. Toteutimme opinnäytetyömme toiminnallisesti siten, että ohjasimme neljä toimintatuokiota lapsiryhmään. Sosiaalisia taitoja on mahdollista opetella erilaisten harjoitteiden avulla, minkä vuoksi valitsimme opinnäytetyöhömme toiminnalliset tuokiot. Opinnäytetyömme tavoitteena oli tukea lasten toisten huomioon ottamisen taitoja tuokioidemme avulla.
Käsittelemme opinnäytetyön tietoperustassa lasten vertaissuhdetaitoja, sosiaalisia taitoja, esiopetusta, toisten huomioon ottamisen taitoja ja lapsiryhmän ohjaamista esiopetusryhmässä. Olemme rakentaneet tietoperustamme aiheeseen liittyvän ammattikirjallisuuden perusteella ja Internet-julkaisujen pohjalta. Olemme rakentaneet tietoperustaa soveltaen Laaksosen ja Revon kaveritaitoja kirjan jaottelua sosiaalisista taidoista. Tuokioiden suunnittelun pohjana käytimme kirjoja Kaveritaitoja, Jukka Hukka ja kirjava takki, sekä Häijyherneitä ja lempeyslientä. Nämä kirjat valikoituivat, koska ne vastasivat opinnäytetyömme tavoitteisiin. The topic of this study was to arrange action lessons related to children’s social skills in pre-school.
The goal of these lessons was to practice social skills in a pre-school group. Our study was practice-based. We carried out our practical part of the project in a kindergarten in Ii, together with a kindergarten teacher. We led a group of 6- year-old children four times, and we talked over topics of how to interact with friends. The group sessions consisted of plays and stories which were different in every session. We discussed with children of these topics after every lesson.
The theoretical base of our thesis included the assessment of social skills, pre-school education and friendship skills. Our theoretical background was based on professional literature and online publications. We have built the theory foundation about the social skills in the basis of the book “Kaveritaitoja” by Laaksonen and Repo. In the basis of the action lessions we used the books “Kaveritaitoja”, “Jukka Hukka ja kirjava takki” and “Häijyherneitä ja lempeyslientä”. We chose these books because them responded to our targets.
