The purpose of this thesis is to support Vietnam Military Insurance Company in incorporation of digital insurance solution. The transition towards virtual insurance process has long been scrutinized in the company, but a comprehensive research on the advantages and weaknesses, the necessity of the project has been carried out before undertaking the project. It intends to provide a critical analysis on the threats and advantages related to digitalization and to study what the general perception towards customer engagement through digital insurance process and whether they are prepared to adopt digital solutions.
The theoretical part of the thesis studies Agile Stage Gate Model to make sure the company opt out of unnecessary development work followed by PR Smith's SOSTAC model on how to carry out marketing strategy. The study uses a qualitative methods research design to analyze the research findings. Qualitative method is used to demonstrates the perceptions of management board and R&D team towards insurance digitalization. The qualitative data includes data from the theoretical framework and the internal sources from the company. A review of Swisscare benchmark also included in the study to improve the UX design that should be considered by company MIC.
