Ohjelmistokehittäjän päiväkirja

Abstract

Opinnäytetyö on päiväkirjamuotoinen tutkielma, jossa seurataan ohjelmistokehittäjän päivittäistä työskentelyä ja analysoidaan työtehtävien tekemisessä tarvittavia taitoja ja käytettäviä menetelmiä. Opinnäytetyössä analysoidaan työn nykytilannetta ja käsitellään työyhteisössä tarvittavia vuorovaikutustaitoja. Lisäksi tutkitaan työpaikan sidosryhmien avulla kehittäjän asemaa organisaatiossa. Päiväkirjaosuudessa käsitellään kymmenen viikon mittaista ajanjaksoa. Jokaiselta työpäivältä kuvaillaan tehtäviä työtehtäviä ja muita vastaan tulevia asioita. Jokaisen viikon lopuksi on viikkoanalyysi, jossa käydään tarkemmin läpi erilaisia työnteossa vastaan tulleita aiheita. Lopuksi pohditaan ohjelmistokehittäjän kehittymistä työssään ja analysoidaan opittuja asioita ja vastaan tulleita haasteita. Lisäksi pohditaan kehittymistä jatkossa.

This thesis is a study in diary form, which follows the daily working of a software developer and analyses the required skills and methods used while working. In the thesis, the current state of work is analysed, and the interaction skills needed are examined. In addition, the position of the developer is studied using relevant interest groups in the workplace. In the diary part of the thesis a period of ten weeks is covered. For each day the completed tasks and other work-related things are described. At the end of each week different subjects encountered during work are analysed in more detail. At the end of the thesis the development at work of the software developer is discussed. The things learned, and challenges encountered during the process are analysed along with future development.
