The objective of the research was to map and analyze the current state, challenges, already streamlined components and future developments of the purchasing process. Data collection for the research was done by interviewing the purchasers of the subcontracting team, using theme-based interview structure.
In the results of the research some inefficiencies in the process were pointed out, and the thesis gives some deeper insights of user experiences to the Company X’s ERP transfer project, which are beneficial when implementing the new system.
