This thesis was conducted as a commission for Nordea Bank. Nordea is an international bank operating mainly in the Nordic countries. The purpose of this thesis was to refine requirements for a new net banking feature for Nordea Norway. This feature is Power of Attorney feature to make customer net banking easier.
The research was conducted by qualitative, semi structured interviews with the Nordea Norway stakeholders. Agile user story method was used to gather and refine the requirements. Main objective was to define requirements for the Minimum Viable Product.
The interviews were conducted in five separate occasions during the winter of 2023 and the spring of 2024. The interviews were semi structured and involved the supervisor and two stake-holders from Nordea Norway. In the interviews, every part of the user stories was gone through. Additionally, the development team was met in two separate times and their questions were also relayed to the stakeholders.
The theoretical part of the thesis describes the user story method and the qualitative interviews. The material has been gathered mainly from software development literature.
The interviews produced three basic features and two undecided features. These features de-scribe the functionality of the Minimum Viable Product as how the customer would use it. Two undecided features were left out during my time in the defining process. These two features added complexity that had an prolonging effect of the schedule of the Minimum Viable Product.
