As the cutting-edge technology of 3D printing continues to advance and develop, it is vital to analyze its prospective effect on future production and address essential concerns concerning scalability, material properties, production efficiency, and economic feasibility. In this thesis, it was aimed to expand the studies on 3D printing by analyzing its possible impact on forming the production landscape of the future. Ultimately, in this thesis was aimed to shed light on the cultural impact of advanced manufacturing technologies, with a specific focus on 3D printing's influence on the future of industries and the global manufacturing landscape.
The progress and enhancement of Additive Manufacturing(AM) set the stage for even more innovations that will certainly put industries on the map for the era of the next generation of product development. Companies adopting this technology into their processes and redrafting procedures to suit them. Businesses can realize benefits such as cost reduction and improved alignment with customer demand.
In this study, it was explored how 3D printing certainly changes production in the coming years in the future. By analyzing current trends and existing research as well as having an interview with experts on the field of 3D printing. The study was explored key concepts like additive manufacturing, supply chain transformation, and digitalization.
In the end, this research offers recommendations for industry stakeholders and clears the path for further investigation into this rapidly evolving field.
