This thesis presents an analysis of the video production process for cybersecurity attack scenario, specifically focusing on the dynamics of spyware infiltration, as depicted in a video developed by a collaborative team from Laurea University of Applied Sciences and other European universities under the SECUREU project.
The project aims to enhance cybersecurity education by creating realistic instructional materials. The video analysis dissects the tactics employed by cybercriminals, the vulnerabilities exploited, and the subsequent impact on targeted entities. Through this analysis, the study offers insights into defensive measures and strategies that can be adopted to mitigate similar cybersecurity threats in real-world scenarios. It also depicts a better understanding of what cybersecurity entails.
The project utilised a simple video structure which invites the audience to a broader perspective about the subject. It reveals the dangers of cyber-attacks and the effect it can have on the economy.
