Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyön tarkoitus oli tutkia uuden kosmeettisen ihonhoidollisen valmisteen, BtB13+GPE seerumivoiteen vaikutusta ihon kuntoon. Aikaisemmissa tutkimuksissa valmisteen huomattiin vaikuttavan positiivisesti mesenkymaalisten kantasolujen hyvinvointiin, minkä vuoksi tutkimusta laajennettiin vapaaehtoisiin koehenkilöihin. Tavoitteena oli selvittää, miten seerumivoide vaikuttaa terveeseen ihoon sekä atooppiseen, kuivaan tai ärtyneeseen ihoon.
Tutkimukseen osallistui kaksi vapaaehtoisten ryhmää, joista toisen koehenkilöillä oli normaali ja terve iho ja toisella atooppinen, kuiva tai ärtynyt iho. Normaali-ihoisten ryhmällä tutkittiin seerumivoiteen vaikutusta mittaamalla tuotteen levittämisaluetta sekä vertailukohtana aluetta, jonne tuotetta ei levitetty. Ryhmä käytti tuotetta noin viikon. Mittaukset suoritettiin kosteutta mittaavalla MoisturemeterEpiD:llä sekä elastisuutta mittaavalla Elastimeterillä. Atoopikkoryhmällä tutkittiin seerumivoiteen vaikutusta sairaaseen ihoon. Ryhmä käytti tuotetta noin 11 vuorokautta. Mittaukset suoritettiin samoilla laitteilla kuin normaaliryhmän kanssa, mutta lisäksi iholta mitattiin kosteuden poistumista Vapometer-laitteella. Atoopikkoryhmän koehenkilöt vastasivat myös kyselyyn, jolla kartoitettiin heidän omia ajatuksiaan seerumivoiteen käytöstä, hyödyistä ja haitoista. The purpose of the bachelor´s thesis was to study the effect of a new skincare product BtB13+GPE on skin well-being. In previous studies the product was found to have a positive effect on mesenchymal stem cell well-being. For this reason, the study was extended to volunteer subjects. The aim was to find out how serum cream affects healthy skin as well as atopic, dry and irritated skin.
Two groups of volunteers participated in the study. The first group of volunteers had normal and healthy skin, and the second group of volunteers had atopic, dry and irritated skin. On the first group the effect of the serum cream was measured from the treatment area and from the area without treatment. This group used the product for about a week. Measurements were made with a moisture measuring MoisturemeterEpiD and with Elastimeter, which measures elasticity. On the second group the effect of the serum cream was measured from diseased skin. This group used the product for about eleven days. Measurements were made with the same devices as group one but also with a moisture evaporation measuring Vapometer.
