This research investigates customer satisfaction and Indian vegetarian customers' preferences in the Finnish fast food industry. The research aims to identify the unique needs and expectations of Indian customers who prefer vegetarian food in Finland. The researchi nvestigates how fast food companies can match their services with these customer preferences, employing the Jobs-to-Be-Done (JTBD) framework. Information for this research was gathered from surveys and interviews of 12 Indian vegetarian customers residing in Finland, and information about their food preferences, cultural habits, and satisfaction with available fast food services was gathered.
The study identifies the need to provide personalized services, including tailoring spice levels and ingredient options, to cater to Indian vegetarian customers' dietary and cultural requirements. It also addresses the increasing trend towards healthy, sustainable, and convenient food. The research underlines the significance of digital channels, including mobile apps and self-service kiosks, in increasing customer satisfaction through greater customization and convenience in ordering fast food.
Lastly, the research investigates how fast food companies in Finland can enhance their service delivery using technology to accelerate the service without sacrificing food quality. Through fulfilling the unique tastes of Indian vegetarian consumers, fast food chains will be able to gain a market edge. The conclusions offer important insights to companies interested in serving the expanding consumer group and enhancing customer satisfaction within the Finnish fast food industry.
