Tiivistelmä
This research addresses the potentiality of entrepreneurship towards developing multi-cultural daycare centers for immigrant children in Finland. This research examines the ways in which entrepreneurs in the early childhood education (ECE) industry can assist in the integration of immigrant children into Finnish society through providing services that meet their linguistic, cultural, and social needs. Based on the experience of entrepreneurs in establishing these daycare facilities, the study offers insights into the potential of entrepreneurs to fulfill the emerging demand for multicultural childcare services in a fast-diversifying world.

Through the implementation of qualitative research processes, such as interviewing daycare entrepreneurs, teachers, and foreign-born parents, the research implies key factors such as flexibility in providing services, developing bilingual school programs, and promoting friendly social environments. The research indicates that entrepreneurs are particularly effective at adapting content of education and providing standardized services, such as flexible timing, to address the diversified needs of immigrant parents. Though, they also experience high challenges, such as finance issues, compliance obstacles, and requirements for intercultural abilities of employees.

The research concludes by presenting suggestions to enhance the sustainability and efficiency of entrepreneurial daycare centers in Finland, with a focus on government support, community involvement, and ongoing professional training for teachers. This research is significant in knowledge development as it sheds light on how entrepreneurship can be used to facilitate the integration of children born of immigrants in Finland into the early childhood education system and enhance cultural diversity in daycare institutions.
