Tiivistelmä
The purpose of this thesis is to explore how the Business Model Canvas can support the planning and development of an online clothing brand. The thesis is intended to service as a practical foundation for launching a small-scale e-commerce venture of the author. The development task involves building a business plan by combining academic knowledge with real-world insights. The theoretical framework focuses on startup planning, digital marketing, logistics, financial management with the BMC as the core structure. A qualitative interview is conducted with an e-commerce distributor, to compare practice with theory. The findings provide a theoretical canvas for aspiring entrepreneurs and confirm that the BMC is useful tool for structuring business ideas and that the business idea is viable to try.
