The purpose is to describe the challenges mental health nurses encounter when providing care to patients with mental health issues in mental health care environment.
The aim of this study is to improve mental health care in mental care environment by addressing the following research question: What are the challenges mental health nurses encountered in acute care environments? For reliable and informative articles related to this topic, utilized the phrase “acute care environments“ to conduct this more concise and easily accessible.
Data were gathered using inclusion and exclusion criteria from the academic databases Cinahl, Medline, and PubMed. PRISMA was used to choose twelve research publications. The data were analyzed using inductive content analysis.
