Tiivistelmä
The blog post explores the role of coffee in promoting sustainable design and circular economy practices in the textile industry. The materials used include Finnish craft traditions, costumes from performing arts, and innovative textile materials that utilize coffee packaging and used coffee grounds. The methods include a case study of the costume design for the Snow Queen ballet, material testing, and documentation of the design process. The main findings demonstrate that coffee-based materials can be used to create visually impactful, technologically enriched, and ecologically sustainable solutions for design, art, and clothing.
