Tiivistelmä
As has been forecasted, Finnish companies will rely increasingly on the international talents in the near future. Universities as experienced actors in multi-cultural context can alleviate the challenges in internationalization of Finnish labor market. Thus, it is essential to ensure that universities have functional models for company collaboration in different regional networks and ecosystems.
This article describes a development process of Oulu University Applied Science’s stakeholder collaboration model. The development process was based on the analysis of the stakeholders’ needs, which was illustrated in the form of the need map presented in this article. Collected data shows that companies are not only able to recognize and express their needs but that they are also willing and competent to deep, ecosystemic co-operation with universities. Collaboration models based on co-creation, could efficiently support the inclusion of international talents to the Finnish companies.
